Food2Kids Program Through the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia
(Pre-COVID) Every Wednesday, the members of UGA Food2Kids meet at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. Here, the members help the food bank with their Food2Kids program.
The Food2Kids program provides weekend meal bags to over 1,500 students per week identified by teachers and school counselors as food insecure. These bags contain six meals and healthy snacks and are then delivered to children at the local Athens-Clarke County elementary schools.
